Portugese Multiplier Event

Multiplier Event

In Portugal, the Multiplier Event was organized by Aproximar and took place at the facilities of the Portuguese Institute for Sports and Youth (IPDJ), on the 8th February 2024. It counted with 52 participants, among young people, educators,
teachers, and professionals in the field of youth, including a cultural mediator. Attendees were from different countries: Portugal, Spain, Hungary and Romania.

During the Event, Aproximar briefly introduced the topics related to the F.O.R.Z.A project and how digital skills could act as an added value while improved amongst young people from more vulnerable groups in society. The main results of the project were also presented – for the professionals, youth workers and teachers participating, the resources were discussed as tools they could use in their daily practice while working with young people.

For the young participants, the topics were presented as resources they are using nowadays, but most of the time, without thinking about the opportunities they can get from that kind of tools or skills. During a workshop, the tools
produced by F.O.R.Z.A.’s IO2 were distributed through small groups of young people, giving them some time to fill it and reflect on the main questions. All the event was delivered in Portuguese and in English too to make accessible
for the foreign participants to active participant in all the presentations, discussions, and activities.
